“The great thing about the movies … is you’re giving people little … tiny pieces of time … that they never forget.”
– James Stewart
So ends my tribute to James Stewart / Western Hero
one of my Top Ten Favorite Western Stars.
I could go on and on about him because …
James made about 18 Westerns.
Several are considered Western Classics.

and seemed to mean what he said.”

Done Jimmy.
All of the movies for Mann are genuine classics, and Liberty Valance most certainly is too. If I have to choose the best/my favourite out of those, my vote goes to The Naked Spur.
Nice call Colin.
At one time or another I think I’ve seen every one of these Westerns – believe ir or not. But I’d have to rewatch several of them to qualify a judgement. I have definitely watched ‘The Man from Laramie’, ‘Liberty Valance’ and ‘The Shootist’ about 4 times each – so I’d definitely call them as Classics. And in all, I don’t recall being disappointed in most anything Stewart did. Amen.
