In my travels I’ve accidentally destroyed two (over) $500 cameras.
The first one, I fell into a creek up at Sheep River Falls.
The second camera was dropped in the sand at Puerto Vallarta.
So I had use my old backup camera when we went in Prince Edward Island. It’s on it’s last legs and did not perform well.
I’m a lousy photographer to begin with, so this didn’t help.
So are the few resulting photos.
But I’ve combined Roses photos with mine to improve the posts.

Travellin’ light:

So:
ZOOOOOOM!!!
5 hours later …
Calgary to Prince Edward Island.
Hmmmm … gonna have to get used to all this French stuff.
And some Native stuff too:
“Pjila’si”???
Pjila’si is a Mi’kmaq native word that means “Welcome”
and can also be understood as “come in and sit down”
or “I’ll do my best”.
Well, we’ll sit down and do our best.
Our Steed:
The Volkswagen Taos
When we finally got to the car rental place, we discovered that the smart travelers had raced ahead and rented all the Ferraris and Rolls Royce’s.
That left us with Volkswagen Taos.
But you know what? It was pretty damn good.
We were ready to ramble/rumble.
But first: We head for our Digs:
After car rental we decided to economize and stay in a Mansion:
Whilst Jeeves took our ride ’round back
we decided to check things out:
WOW!
