To Love Somebody / The Bee Gees / 1967

In 1967 I was 19  years old.
The incredible Renaissance Music Explosion of that era was already going full blast.
To hear it I’d sneak Dad’s Transister Radio to my room and listen to music all night.
That radio looked something like this.

But I was able to get Radio Stations from all over North America!
This inspired me to buy a record albums or two.

But it was a very difficult choice.
I picked Bee Gee 1st.

This wasn’t a bad choice. But I just don’t know why I picked it?
Because there was tons to choose from.

This album contained at least 3 Bee Gees Classics.
“To Love Somebody”
“New York Mining Disaster 1941”
“I Can’t See Nobody”
“In My Own Time”

Identified brothers and friends: Left to Right:
Colin Petersen/Drummer, Vince Melouney/Lead Guitar, BARRY GIBB, ROBIN GIBB, MAURICE GIBB
Only BARRY is still alive. He is 79 years old.

Something almost exactly like this thing:

Yep.
I used to put a Canadian Nickel on the armature. I felt it played better that way?
A penny was too light.
LOL!
