This is your Summer folks. Get at it.
This is also my last post on Reader Rock Garden. Promise.
OK … I need to do something Western next …
After seeing Marilyn’s wonder flower pics over at Serendipity
I felt reticent to posting our pics from Reader’s Rock Garden.
But I kept getting a nudge to do so …
Go placidly amid the noise and the haste,
and remember what peace there may be in silence.
You are a child of the universe no less than the trees and the stars;
you have a right to be here.
We’ve got a lot more …
Hebe was the goddess of youth, daughter of Zeus and Hera.
She served nectar and ambrosia to the Olympians and later married Heracles,
with whom she had two children, Alexiares and Anicetus.
Her name comes from the Greek word for youth,
and it was believed that she had the ability to restore youth.
