With the World in chaos … we travel. (While able).

And all you have to do is jump on a plane (in Calgary) …

And before you can drink two martinis and say “I love The Island.” …

(You know, the last time I flew on a Prop Plane I was 8 years old when Mum took us 5 boys and my sister flew to England.
That was about 1956. An adventure for us kids, but Mum’s last chance to see her folks in Guildford Surrey.)

… you land on Vancouver Island in Nanaimo, BC.

WHEW!

Then! You grab your bags and run to the car rental joint –
because if you don’t you might end up with one of these:

Then off we go!
With a brief glance at Nanaimo, we head ‘Up Island’…
To Tofino.
