Imperial Wonderment !!!

 See this thing?:

It’s called Fritillaria imperialis, the Crown Imperial,
Imperial Fritillary, Kaiser’s Crown, or Kurdish Tulip.

Take your pick.
(so to speak)

It mysteriously appeared in our garden last year.
(We suspect Flower Terrorists)

It is definitely majestic. Imperial even!!
Towers over our Tulips and Crocus!

So I waited in breathless expectation of a glorious
explosion of Flower wonderment!!!

And here’s what we got:
TA DA!!

I won’t call it crumby …
But this Imperial definitely has no clothes.
(So to speak)

Still liking it though.
