Ted Turner began to colorize the movies after he bought a boatload to e show on TCM.
Jane Fonda, his wife at the time, convinced him that him that some movies were so much better in b&w, when they were shot that way originally.

“Yakima” Canutt!!! You got that right GP! Canutt took stuntwork from dangerous practice (to man and beast) to an respected Artform and profession. Took him 2 years to plan and execute the chariot race for Ben Hur – among many other things he achieved. Truly an iconic figure in the Film Industry.
I understand Wayne wouldn’t work on a movie with anyone else. Is that true?
