I went out on our front steps yesterday evening and took these pics:
Forest fires in Alberta.
We don’t worry too much about them out here on the Prairie –
and wouldn’t even know they were happening –
if it wasn’t for the smoke.
HOWEVER, most of Canada is FOREST.
Check any map.
So this is a big problem.
AND NOW in the age of Climate Change
it’s amplified. Considerably.
Howdy!
I love Westerns.
... and the intent of MyFavoriteWesterns.com is to celebrate Western Movies/Film - old and new.
This site will eventually show my top 30 favorite Westerns - or more. I will have original graphic work with regular updates.
All this - and more ...
Yee Haw ... !!

Hoping things stay safe for you.
There’s fires everywhere it seems. We have lots of company.
Yup. Feel that heat. The jungle-like humidity. And hope against hope that somehow, we find our way out of the mess we created.
First it rained for a month and a half. Then we get a heat wave! They’ve evacuated Jasper Park I guess?
Scary! Fingers crossed that it doesn’t get to you, JC
We’re safe here in Calgary, but it can be a tragic situation for a lot people. Having your house burn down happens to a lot of folks.
Let’s pray for rain, a lot of rain.
