I really want to see this. So glad Kevin is back directing again. Intrigued that it’s going to be four films.
I think the movie wasn’t as good as we all thought it would be. I didn’t lose interest though. Is that ‘damning by faint praise?’ I think he probably made his money back? I’m still interested in what’s going to happen with his character as it carries on.
Kostner can punch his own ticket right now. He’s had massive success over many years.
BUT film making is an expensive trade and ship can founder.
Horizon wasn’t the success we hoped for an expected. It wasn’t BAD, but …
He lost a lot of loot and no matter what we think about ART, films cost much
and must bring in payback. Cameron is faced with same dilemna with Avatar.
His second movie of these massively expensive producions did not do as well as hoped.
Do you then carry on? Money is the major risk, but the time, work etc. also count.
