It is such beautiful song but whoever did the video screwed up royal. The original Jimmie Rogers, who’s picture is used, was dead long before this song that was written. This is sung by the Jimmie Rogers of the 50’s and 60’s who sang songs like ‘Honeycomb’, and whose career was pretty much ended when during a traffic stop he suffered a head injury. But thanks for the song, JC. It is indeed one of my favorites.
Hey Don! I did not know that. Thank You. OF course I admired both of these guys. The original James Charles Rodgers (September 8, 1897 – May 26, 1933) would be 124 old today – 58 years old in 1962. I think I better fix this post up and do a bit a bio on each of them.

I haven’t come up for air since Wednesday. I can’t turn off the news. That man must be controlled. Right now he is the most dangerous man on the planet.
As long as this radical Right media keep propagating the lie that the Election was fraudulent this won’t stop – even without Trump. They have created a rabid audience for their lies and are feasting on these fools. This so-called Media must be held to account for what they propagate – and it must be proven that what they say is true in Court. Right now they are continuing to incite people to attack the Government.
