Getting Out …. Nose Creek Park

1 Jun

Starting a New Life / Van Morrison

A bit of a gloomy day on the prairie.

This way? or thataway?

A prairie landscape.

Some folks might think there’s nothing to do or see on the prairie,
but as a kid I lived out there and it has its own kind of wonder.

Coyotes in area. Well … it is the prairies.
Keep an eye on your dog.

There’s plenty of sandstone in Alberta.
There was once an ocean here.

Rest point and plaque.

A prairie coulee.
Only marred by the encroaching city.

Small wonders.

Nose Creek

The fool on the hill.

Thanks for taking me along on your trip today! I like prairies–a vast sky and uninterrupted views are my kind of beauty.

Thanks Cindy! Some of my image quality is poor. They were crisp when I posted ’em – then they seem to turn blurry? I’ll never figure this thing out.

I fixed ’em Cindy. Converted them to PNGs. Hope that was a good idea? They look better anyway.
