I noticed it. Not because I’m a Christian. I’m not. But because I studied Sculpture at the Alberta College of Art in Calgary. And this is perhaps the greatest work of sculpture ever done. Michelangelo’s Pieta.
Whether this was done intentionally or not, I cannot say. But there it is.

It’s a powerful connection. I’m sure many folks picked it up subconsciously. I didn’t notice this myself until much later.
Good catches!! I’m sure they weren’t accidental. Nothing Peter Jackson did was accidental, but I’m sure his cinematographer had something to say about it, too 🙂
