The Call of the Wild – Dog of the Yukon Soundtrack / 1997
“He was mastered by the sheer surging of life, the tidal wave of being, the perfect joy of each separate muscle, joint, and sinew in that it was everything that was not death, that it was aglow and rampant,
expressing itself in movement, flying exultantly under the stars.”
― Jack London, The Call of the Wild
Locations: Quebec (exterior) and Montreal, Quebec.
Reviews: generally favorable.
MFW: For me this film is the best of The Call of the Wild films.
The narration by Richard Dreyfuss makes the difference.
Taken from the book it lets us see and experience the story through Buck’s eyes.
The way it’s supposed to be.
Nicely done.
