  1. Great illustrations there and I love it that you chose Time Has Come Today as your song of choice for it 🙂 Anyway, keep up the great work as always 🙂

On another topic, I too was thinking who could play Peckinpah If a film were made about either the making of The Wild Bunch or the troubled production of Pat Garrett and Billy the Kid. Though I think you meant the latter in this case. As to that question of yours the other day about who was responsible for how the theatrical version of Pat Garrett and Billy the Kid came out, I do not know If he was the only culprit involved in how Pat Garrett and Billy the Kid was edited during it’s initial theatrical run, but he was most certainly the main one and his name was James T. Aubrey (1918-1994), who ran MGM from 1969-1973. Here is a link below in case you are interested.

    1. Thanks for the compliment.
It’s a muddied tale surrounding the infighting over Pat Garrett and Billy the Kid. Pek did abandon it, it seems – frustrated and infuriated by the interference. Fortunately most of the shooting was already done and they didn’t chuck everything away. It does boggle my mind that the moneychangers would seize someone’s Artwork and cut it up – for money.
