Deadwood fans are something like Trekkies.
They’ve been harrassing HBO ever since the series was shut down.
Well … it worked. For at least one movie anyway.
Possibly to wrap things up.
It is a good series.
Howdy!
I love Westerns.
... and the intent of MyFavoriteWesterns.com is to celebrate Western Movies/Film - old and new.
This site will eventually show my top 30 favorite Westerns - or more. I will have original graphic work with regular updates.
All this - and more ...
Yee Haw ... !!

It started encouragingly enough but soon began to deteriorate. I doubt that I’ll revisit. The art of making a decent Western is in decline. When it comes to TV I think ‘Lonesome Dove’ was the last great Western.
I truly was never able to see much of it. So I wanted to start at the beginning and watch the whole thing through. So I really can’t judge it. Yeah, Lonesome Dove was superb.
The thing that puzzles me is that there is a TON of excellent Western stories and books that provides unlimited inspiration and resource. But they are always trying something new – which I don’t get.

It was a good series, but it was also — for me — excessively violent and I stopped watching it before it ended. I’m really not a big fan of violence.
I know it’s dark. I don’t know if I can get Rose to watch it. So I might have to pass on it.
