The Book

I sense a lot of political undertones (maybe overtones)
and historical liberties with this one.
But we’ll see.

  1. I saw this and was disappointed. The Sitting Bull that was cast was hot and 40 while the real Sitting Bull was 60ish. Chastain’s accent was terrible. I loved the skies and the costumes. It brushed over the time frame and didn’t do the Wounded Knee catastrophe justice, in my opinion. I would rate it a 3/5.

  2. This one looks great. Can’t wait to see it. The trailer really doesn’t seem to bring across a movie worthy of the low IMDB rating. Hoping it is as good as the trailer looks.

    1. There’s some obvious liberties taken.Sitting Bull was not a matinee idol. LoL! I’ll watch it for sure, but purely as Western entertainment.
