Early Spring?
Yay or Nay ?
Only Balzac Billy (below) claims to have seen his shadow –
which would signal another six weeks of Winter.
However, MFW noticed some suspicious things about Billy
that bring his credibility into question:
Firstly – although you can clearly see Billy’s shadow –
we suspect some photoshopping here! Yes!
Secondly – looking even closer – Billy appears
to be a man in gopher suit!
(I think the red jacket gave him away)
Thirdly – can we really believe what a giant gopher
who lives in a manure pile says?
NO!

Well I don’t know it gophers do the shadow thing or not … but this guy looks a little shady.
I think you are right and as for that manure if you look really closely you can actually see the face of a buffalo there–so it may actually be a clue to the kind of manure that it is.

Actually Billy’s annual event has become a bit of a tradition around here. They have a pancake breakfast and make it into a bit of a fun gathering. Not sure how they determine their prediction though. ??
