US Juniors win Gold !

Image result for 2017 IIHF World Junior Championship Gold Medal Game

US Jr. Hockey Team  overcame a two goal deficit twice (TWICE!!) in the Championship game to defeat Team Canada Jr.s  5 to 4 in Montreal (Jan. 5)

After a 60 minute game and a 10 minute Overtime the game was eventually determined by a Shoot Out.

Obviously little to chose between the two teams, but US were worthy winners.

Congrats to Team USA.

See you next year in Buffalo!

  1. My opinion on Shoot Outs – it’s no way to win and no way to lose. Especially when you get that deep.
Yes! Mini looks to have a bright future with those kids coming up.
    Have a good one!

  2. Shoot outs are exciting but to me there should have been co-champs. I am so excited over the Minnesota Wild prospects on the various teams.
