Hope springs eternal in the human breast;
Man never is, but always to be blessed:
The soul, uneasy and confined from home,
Rests and expatiates in a life to come.
– Alexander Pope, An Essay on Man
This morning the honey bee returned to our garden.
I had not seen them for two years.
And I feared I may never see them again.
But there they were. Flitting from poppy to poppy.
Our garden … complete again.
Crazy nice winter here … then an early Spring …
Garden looks great. Wait till my nasturtiums come !
Pretty colors, JC. It always feels good when the garden’s planted and the flowers are in bloom.
