Great posters! Forwarding to Garry. I think he needs a “Duke” fix!
A lot more coming. No shortage of material on The Duke.
I love his movies
Here’s John, in his prime, age 27 (in 1934) – the Dirty Thirties – making these all these “B Westerns” – which are not even regarded as Art by the film critics – and still a few years away (1939) from John Ford’s historic breakthrough Western, ‘Stagecoach’ – which changed everything – by showing that Westerns could be legitimate Art and elevated John into mainstream film Stardom.
He paid his dues.
