At the age of 87, and after an acting break of 14 years, Dame Judith Anderson accepted the part of T’Lar—a Vulcan high priestess Star Trek III: The Search for Spock.. She was encouraged by her nephew to take the role and received a Saturn Award nomination for that role.

I like that Dame Judith did playful roles as she got older. She had a sense of humor, too.
It did seem puzzling to me that she would take that role in A Man Called Horse. Money? You gotta live.
Her career seemed to have 4 stages: Her beginnings in Australia – then to the Shakespearean Theatre in England – to Broadway – then Hollywood. She seemed content to leave the Theatre behind and do TV and Film work. In all, a great career.
