    1. A guy called Gavin O’Connor – I’ve heard he’s good. There’s a huge saga behind all this film’s production with lawsuits still active involving former Director Lynne Ramsay. The whole thing the has been a real circus. Movie is a couple of years late … hope it turns out OK.

      1. I hope so too. Sometimes I find listings for these old movies with amazing casts and they are just awful. It’s hard to figure exactly what went wrong. I live in hopes of a good new western.

  1. Some projects seem to be cursed. Yes I heard about he Paris postponement. Horrific, but they don’t seem to get a break.
So … we wait. Not for long.

  2. I can hardly wait. Miss Portman has been one of my favorites since her debut in THE PROFESSIONAL. Even if a movie isn’t the best, just having her in it makes it worthwhile. I would buy a ticket to see Natalie read the Yellow Pages.

    1. I like The Professional a lot. Yes, she can do some good work. The film has been wracked with problems though from it’s inception so we’ll have to see how it comes out. Hoping for the best.

      1. Sounds like the delay was the result of directors’ egos, causing some actors to have to drop out because of other contracts, and the last opening was postponed because they didn’t want to open it too close to the Paris massacre.
