Arizona Holiday continued … Old Tucson Studios: Part 2

29 Jun

Old Tucson Studios is pretty big.

There’s ongoing entertainment at Old Tucson Studios
They have it timed so you can take it all in if you wish.
We took a lot of pictures.

First thing was the well rehearsed Medicine Show.

Careful though – you might wind up as part of the show.

You have to be a skilled photographer to take 2 pictures of a guy
and catch him blinking both times. Grrrrrrr …

But the show must go on …

Next door to the Medicine Show is Town Hall
housing a museum and a gallery …

He wasn’t very good so I decided to offer him some advice.

      Kind of you …

I like the church. I know it’s a reproduction of the original, but I can see John Wayne and Robert Mitchum rush into it as Bull shoots the bells. El Dorado is one of my favorite movies.

Rick … I was searching and searching for some Western pics that used this set. I believe it was used in at least one version of Magnificent Seven as well … but couldn’t find it !?? Dang !

Rio Bravo and McLintock were made there. Heck, there’s a bunch.
