  1. I loved the book and liked the movie because it was a fairly good interpretation of the book. Richard Harris gave quite a performance. Not a favorite either, but still a worthwhile one to watch.

    1. Somewhat controversial in it’s day due to some of the brutally realistic scenes – particularly the Initiation scene. Probably not that easy to watch even now. And possibly why its shown so very infrequently on TV.
      Always liked Harris – definitely had Star Power too.
