A Small Fraternity / Part 4
Cowboys to Stars
It is one of Garry’s top 5 all-time favorite movies, but my husband is in love with baseball even more than the movies. He WAS great in The Natural. And other things.
Wow! I did not know. I’m guessing as an Extra?
I was an Extra in a couple of movies: Cool Runnings (John Candy), and Unforgiven (Clint Eastwood). Have some big memories out of that. (Unforgiven will be one of My Favorites)
Sorry Garry !! LOL. Don’t know I was thinking there? Maybe it was 3 in morning or something ?
You know, I was on Unforgiven for quite a while – and worked on many of the sets – painting and such. BUT I never saw any of the Stars: Freeman, Clint, Richard Harris, or Gene Hackman. It was just work.
I like him in The Natural.
Yes he and Coach Wilford Brimley – a brilliant combo of casting. And the movie is definitely somewhat of a Classic in my book – eminently re-watchable.
