Thanks Garry. Cagney truly was one of a kind. Thank God that we have the film heritage to appreciate much of what these special folks did.
I just wanted to echo your comments on Mike’s latest Cagney post. Regards the schlock that passes for quality entertainment these days. I was just reading a local (Boston) critic’s top ten list of movies for the past year. I know this is always subjective but my point — and I think yours — there seems to be a lot of garbage treated as quality these days.I am sure Cagney, Tracy and the other legends are just rolling their eyes. Happy New Year!!
