  1. I was a huge fan of Jack London as a kid, probably because he wrote about dogs and I do dearly love dogs. I loved White Fang and remember being upset that all his stories weren’t about dogs 🙂 I’d love to see remakes on THESE movies since they mangled the books first time around!

    1. You’re right – they hardly ever stick to the story – or capture the magic of the book. I am putting together a post on the several movie versions that were made – for what they’re worth.

    1. He was a interesting man. A true individual who seemed to value Freedom above all else. Melded his philosophy into these adventure tales (‘The Call of the Wild’.and ‘White Fang’) that really struck a nerve with people.
